The Madison Sail and Power Squadron is located in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin, on the shores of our
magnificent Yahara Chain of Lakes, about 75 miles west of Milwaukee and about a 2 1/2 hour drive NW of Chicago
Our members sail the waters of Lake Mendota, Lake Monona, Lake Waubesa
– in cruisers, sail boats, kayaks, PWCs, motor yachts and canoes.

If you are a boating enthusiast, or want to be, this is the organization for you.

Take a boating course For both new and experienced boaters.

Get a vessel safety check - This free safety check helps ensure fun-filled outings on your boat.

Become a member. Participate in educational and social activities, both on-the-water and ashore, throughout the year.

The annual education planning meeting will be 4 June 2012.
We are requesting input / comments from MSPS members and members of the public on which classes to offer during the next year.

MSPS WILL PARTICIPATE IN "TAKE A STAKE IN THE LAKES" - June 9, 2012
Mendota County Park
8:30AM coffee and donuts.,   9:00AM to 11:00AM, Cleanup work
Cleanup of Lake Mendota shoreline. MSPS has adopted Mendota County Park and has participated in this event for 20+ years. T-shirts, rubber gloves, trash bags, water and pop are provided.  We ask that you please bring small garden tools, rakes, shovels, wheel barrels, work gloves, waders, etc.  Please join the great cause and camaraderie! We would appreciate your help and look forward to seeing you there!
